It was another great day in the park with beautiful but changeable weather. These are the same logs Bella posed in front of on March 28th. They have now been painted by some unknown artist, but here Bella strikes a fine pose in the new duds she just procured from a children's flea market.
Here is a picture of the Baerlauch, or "Bear's Garlic" which is so prevelant in the park near our apartment. It has a flavor which is somewhere between garlic and chives (schnittlauch) and we usually pick some to cook with at this time of year. It is related to ramp found in America but is apparently a different species.
Bella's friend Neave left some of her clothes over at our place and Bella decided that she would dress up as her (ex)compatriot. As you can see, wearing costumes and pretending to be someone else is VERY serious business.
This is a closeup of Isha's feet. 'Nuff said.
Here Isha and mama enjoy some refreshments after playing in the park. Below, Bella has a drink at the Biergarten by the Glashaus.
I am talking very much and have an impressive vocabulary. I ride my bike around Leipzig and don't care what people think of me. Right now I am negotiating what is mine and what isn't, how to claim my own space and territory and how to share. I am also learning how to be a big sister.
