Around Prague

While we were in Prague it rained and rained and rained. Our initial plan of spending parts of the the day in various gardens didn't work out quite so well. Nevertheless we walked around the city as though the sun was shining and explored the castle grounds and gardens.

We also really enjoyed the mornings. Every morning we found a new cafe to have breakfast at....

SCROLL DOWN.....THERE ARE MANY NEW POSTS!!!

On the train to Prague....And our first night there.

We took a fast train to Dresden which had a really comfortable room for children. You can see Bella riding a wooden motorcycle....This was one of the "toys" in the room. After changing to an older train in Dresden we went directly to the dining car so we could have tea and look at the window as we passed through the Switzerland of Saxony.

After a crazy taxi ride and settling matters at our room (accommodation is always problematic in Prague) we headed for the Old Town. We had a really relaxing dinner in a vegetarian cafe in the Old Town. This particular cafe serves free meals to those who are enlightened....In fact, a Buddhist monk enjoyed a meal with friends at a nearby table. As you may have guessed....We were required to pay for our meal.
