Fun In The Sun
We all went to the Soap Box Race Festival last weekend. Bella loves street festivals, which she refers to as parties. This one had one of those bouncy inflatable rooms and she really loves these. This time she ventured out to the middle, even with the big kids. I got this picture through the window.
Here is Bella at the Soap Box races again. She had a great time!
One of Bella's favorite activities lately is for us to build her a "mountain" out of pillows, blankets and a matress. This time she decided to sleep on it, so I call it sleepy mountain.
This is Bella showing the balloon she decorated. You can see this one on the art blog, too.

Adventures in Wonderland
Ever since Bella saw Alice in Wonderland she has been fascinated by the Cheshire cat. This is her impersonation of her favorite character. Pretty good, huh?
We wanted to take some pictures at Bella's favorite playground. This one is really deluxe and there is lots for her to do there. This is the tire mountain which she can climb by herself now.
Here Bella is about to go across the swinging bridge. She loves this part.
The other morning Bella woke us up at 4:30 wanting to watch videos. We had a hard time distracting her until mama put stickers on her face. After this point, Bella joined in on the fun and a good time was had by all.

Festival Day
We went to 2 festivals on Sunday to celebrate Father's Day. The first was outdoors and we walked around, enjoying the sunshine and music. The second one had lots of activities. Bella did a lot of painting there.
There was face painting and Bella really wanted to do it. Here you see her getting made up as a cat (she loves the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland lately).

International Festival
Today we attended the annual international children's festival sponsored by the University. Bella spent a lot of time petting a little gray bunny and trying to get close enough to a family of sheep to pet them. There was a table set up where children could get their faces painted, do bead work, and get a weave....When Bella saw the woman weaving colorful materials into hair, she literally jumped into the chair saying, "I am ready...I am ready!!!" The woman commented that Bella was a little young to sit patiently through a procedure that is not so pleasant...Bella told me she really wanted to so....

Back With More Photos - New Ones Soon!
This is Bella in the snow in the mountains of the Czech Republic. We went there last February. She really enjoyed the snow and sledding down the mountain. We were right at the border with Poland. It was a fun trip.
