Croatia V

Here is another installment of our Croatia trip pictures. There will be at least one more of these posts. I will show some assorted pictures from our last days on Mali Losinj and then the second part of our trip in Lovran. First, lets start out with some pictures of the family members. This is Bella having fun on a boat.

Here is the whole family enjoying the sun on Mali Losinj.

Bella found this walking stick on the path that led to the other side of the island where we stopped. It was a beautiful walk. There were many old stone walls interwoven throughout the whole area.

This is the beach we walked to across the island.

We found this little chapel on the path to the other side of the island and took this picture of Bella there.

Our boat trip's last stop was Veli Losinj on the other side of our island. It was a beautiful, quaint town that was quite old with a decidedly Italian feel.

We finally left Mali Losinj and went to the mainland coast. After a few ups and downs we ended up in Lovran. This is the well and garden of the place where we stayed. It was very nice and so was our host.

One day we walked from Lovran to Opatija along the coast. This was a few miles and was incredibly beautiful. This is just one example of what it was like.

One day we took the bus to Plitivice park in the interior of Croatia. It was a very long but beautiful ride through the mountains. The park has lots of waterfalls and wonderful wooden paths that go over many lakes. Here papa and Bella marvel at some caves.

This is mama and Bella enjoying the sun in the park. It was actually quite cold that day unless the sun was shining, so we took advantage of it when we could.

This is papa and Bella enjoying the view.

Here is a view of the largest waterfall in Croatia and the lakes as we were leaving the park.
